A tiny bit of Astrology.

Now 'Astrology' is one area which is of a great debate. Some people believe in it too much, so much that they start trusting frauds blindly while some think that it is totally wrong or inaccurate or unimportant to believe or know anything about astrology. There should be a middle ground to it. I think astrology can be of a great use if its used as just a guideline in understanding oneself and the people who surround us, personally and professionally.

In my video above, I've already spoken about the 3 signs and how they contribute our personality. I also speak of the elements of astrology and which signs come under each element.

To explain it further, I will  give you one example:  If a person is say Cancer by his Sun sign, Leo by his Moon sign and has Virgo as his Rising sign then he is bound to be having the typical traits of a Cancerian which are shyness, attachment towards his loved ones and will be a little more on the emotional side, but as he has a Leo moon, he will also be outgoing, gregarious and an extrovert, which are signs not typical of a Cancerian, but yet he may possess them anyway! And due to his rising sign being Virgo he may be sort of a perfectionist and may want things to be totally prim and proper.

In short, he is a mixture of all the three zodiac signs!

So do you get it? There are 12 signs in the zodiac and due to that, so many permutations and combinations are made.Fascinating isn't it?

Look around you, no two people born on the same day will have the same behaviour. Technically they should. But they don't, the primary reason being whatever I have mentioned above.

After we understand the basic principles of astrology, we can then look deeper into each sign and know its traits.

Like I have already mentioned, describing the personality traits of each sign is not what I am going to to. I just want to spread the message across that astrology is fun and interesting if we really get to understand it without any prejudices towards it. I myself am not a professional astrologer who predicts people's future, etc etc, but I am just a normal being with an interest in astrology and have been doing a bit of reading and studying for the last 2 or 3 years.

So viewers, just knowing a 'tiny bit' of astrology can help us in widening our perception and the way we look at ourselves and the world!

Love your blog, especially your video! I've been researching into astrology and horoscopes so this has really helped. Thank you!

Manasi, although I don't myself follow astrology, I've noticed that people who do often have deep insights into their own and other people's behavior.

@nothingprofound Yeah!! Well our intuition also plays an important role. Its the combination of a good intuition and some knowledge about astrology which helps us in giving great insights about ourselves and others. :)

Prema's Journey...

Hey everybody! Today we have a very special person with us.

Meet Prema Malhotra.  Prema lives in the United States of America along with her family. She has two brothers.
She is just like everyone of us. A slight difference is- Prema was adopted when she was a child.
Prema has willingly agreed to open up to us & share bits of her life.
Let me tell you, after Prema came to know that she was adopted, her thirst to search for her original parents started. She travelled from USA to India, in search of her roots. She came to know that she was relinquished by her birth mother two days after her birth.
The reason was that her natural mother was abandoned and left alone by her natural father. Later on she was adopted by her current father & mother.  Prema then started to feel that she really should meet her birth mother.
The struggle Prema went through to search for her birth mother is something one cannot explain. Did she then, meet her natural mother??? She has done extensive resea…

Gaurav Ghatnekar - A candid interview with a gifted actor!

Ladies and Gentlemen, put your hands together to welcome none other than Gaurav Ghatnekar! Today we have with us a handsome hunk who is a talented Marathi and Hindi actor, famous for his movies like "Tujhi Majhi Love Story" and shows like "Tuj Vin Sakhya Re" among many others. He
has recently been essaying the role of Lord Krishna to perfection in a popular Hindi show called Dharmakshetra on Epic Channel.

Back after a game of squash, in a candid chat with me, he answers some of my questions-

Me: Have you always wanted to be an actor? What made you decide that you want to be an actor?
Gaurav: When I was a kid, I was fascinated by a lot of professions. One day I would want to be a bus
conductor the other day a 'pepsi-cola' seller, as I grew up I wanted to be a pilot so that I could fly a plane . Then I felt like joining the army once. I realised that if I want to be so many people at once, I should be an actor! An actor can be whoever he wants and that's…

4 simple ways to get out of the Comfort Zone.

Hello everyone!
So it's the first blog post of 2018! It's already been almost two months into the year and I hope the year is going good for all.

I would like to bring to you 4 very simple ways to get out of your comfort zone and expand your horizons.

What is the comfort zone?
A comfort zone is a zone for each one of us where we feel safe or at ease, where we use only tried and tested methods which can yield only the same type of result.

Why get out of it?
Getting out of the zone, means essentially adding more value to your life, growth in terms of personal and professional life. It basically means expanding your horizons, facing your fears and doing something you have not done before, to make your life more meaningful than it is now.

In fact, writing a blog post on something like this, is me getting out my comfort zone as well, because it's different from what I usually write.

Here I am sharing with you four effortless yet significant ways to change the way you perceive …
