I am sure that just like while I write this, while you read this too, the atmosphere around you must be cold and the rain must be hitting hard on your window sill.
I think most of you will agree that there is nothing as good as a hot cup of tea or coffee in the monsoon weather be it for beating that work stress or just relaxing at your home or at a restaurant.
So my today's post is going to be all about these beverages.
I will show you how to add a dash of different flavour and a twist to the usual beverage in your cup and that too very easily and without much effort. You will also learn how each of these recipes by me are beneficial to your health!

1. Tea powder
Take a quantity of water equal to one cup. Heat the water, chop the fruit into pieces. I have used the Pear fruit. You can use any fruit of your choice because each one adds a different flavour. Add some pieces of the chopped fruit in the water. Unless you are making tea for more than one person I would suggest you that do not use the entire fruit for the tea.
Chop some pieces of ginger add them to the water.
Let the mixture simmer on a low flame for one or two minutes. As the flavour will be imparted to the water you will start noticing that the fruit loses it's natural colour and the aroma of ginger gets stronger.
Add sugar. While adding sugar always remember to add a little less amount than you would while making a normal cup of tea. Half tablespoon sugar should suffice.
The reason is that the fruit is already going to add it's sweetness. So for one cup of tea, half a tablespoon is enough unless you like your tea to be really sweet.
Bring the water to boil. Add one tablespoon tea powder (or according to your taste)
Let the tea simmer for one or two minutes on a medium flame.
Strain the tea into your cup with the help of a strainer.
And you are done!
If you wish. You may add milk to it.
